Pei Epi Lab 在探討環境因子、易感群體與健康之間的相關性。實驗室的研究方向為探討影響易感群體如孕婦、嬰兒、與年長者健康之危險因子，藉由結合流行病學與環境科學的相關知識，來找出影響易感群體健康之危險因子，期待將研究成果提供相關政策制定者與健康照護者擬定疾病預防策略之參考。

Our lab explores the intersection of environmental factors, vulnerable populations, and health outcomes. Specializing in identifying risks and developing protective strategies, the lab focuses on the most susceptible groups including pregnant women, infant and elderly, combining epidemiology and environmental science to enhance public health policies and interventions.

李佩珍教授國際合作支團隊與研究合作之內容如下：

• 至2016年開始至今，多次受邀至Inserm當訪問學者，並且參與多項前瞻性巴金森氏病之世代研究，並至2020年開始，擔任Team “Exposome, heredity, cancer, and health”，Centre for research in Epidemiology and Population Health之兼任副研究員。

• 與北德州大學之Dr. Julia Heck長年合作研究兒童癌症之危險因子，並於2018年獲得美國兒童癌症基金會 (Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer)之研究計畫以及2022年獲得NIH R03之研究計畫。

• 參與NASA之Multi-Angle Imager for Aerosols(MAIA)國際合作計畫，並協助持續進行空氣污染採樣計畫。

Here are the lists of Dr. Pei-Chen Lee’s international collaboration activities.

• Since 2016, I was invited to L'institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale (INSERM) as a visiting scholar almost every summer and join the team of“Exposome, heredity, cancer, and health” Centre for research in Epidemiology and Population Health and collaborate with the team leader Dr. Alexis Elbaz extensively on Parkinson’s disease related topics. 

• I have long-term collaboration with Dr. Julia Heck at University of North Texas on several projects related to maternal exposure/condition and childhood cancer risk.

• Our team participates in the international collaboration of “the Multi-Angle Imager for Aerosols (MAIA)” project which project funded by NASA aimed to study the influences of air pollution on human health via satellite instrument.
